Wouldn’t that be a cool metaphor to explore in real life?
The metaphor of getting lost while browsing the web. It is a cool metaphor. Anything in life can be compared to browsing the web. You never know what you will find, what you might learn, who you might come across, how you might see connections. Just like everything in life. Or life, itself?
Maybe that is what whoever came up with the idea for the internet meant by calling it the world wide web. But web of what? Computers linked together by wires and then WIFI? But what is on all the computers? Almost everything humans have ever created and converted into pixels? And, all the things humans have taken notice of and studied as long as we’ve been doing those things? So, is it like the web of everything we know and have created?
